Santa Gets To Know An Old Friend

Share

Dear Santa,

The legal staff here at Spencer Calahan Injury Attorneys would like to help you with the long holiday season you’re about to encounter. We know this time of year is no easy test and you have a ton of “to-do” lists. Although we would be honored to represent you in a legal matter, it’s important to keep safety as the number one objective during this holiday season, so we can keep you healthy. We’ve gathered several safety tips for you to consider. Since you haven’t been in your magic sleigh for almost a year, we’ll focus on getting re-acquainted with it, so you can lead your team of reindeer with confidence on Christmas Eve. We didn’t have any magic sleigh experience on the staff, so to generate ideas for you lists we drew upon our expertise as auto injury attorneys in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Specifically, we channeled our inner car-rental guru for this list.

First, re-familiarize yourself with the sleigh by going over the systems you will need to access while the sleigh is in the air.

  1. It’s important to know how the lights work so you can keep your eyes on your route, while operating the sleigh. Pretty much the only thing you can do here is check Rudolph’s nose for brightness.
  2. Know your radio. Whether you use it for listening to weather reports for future stops or you are listening to the odd pairing of Bing Crosby and David Bowie sing “Little Drummer Boy”, you need to understand how your audio system works. People who figure this out while driving, stand a good chance of getting in an accident.
  3. Set your mirrors while you’re properly positioned in the driver’s seat of the sleigh. Adjust both side views and the rear-view mirrors to reduce your blind spots. You don’t want any jetliners sneaking up on you while you are jamming to Alice Cooper’s rendition of “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”.

Those are the three most important tips we can offer you on re-familiarizing yourself with your sleigh before you take it out for your yearly spin. We wish you safe travels and hope you find our list helpful.

Happy Holidays,

Spencer Calahan Injury Attorneys
