A native of Houma, Louisiana, Byron Matthew Hutchinson is a graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School. In 2004, he received his Bachelor of Science from Nicholls State University where he majored in Biology and in May 2010 earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. Byron began his career representing more than 300 individuals and businesses along the Gulf Coast affected by the 2010 BP oil spill recovering more than $8 million for his clients.
Prior to attending law school Byron pursued a career in medicine, however, once accepted into medical school he decided upon a different path to help those sick and injured. Byron’s medical background is an invaluable asset when representing his clients against insurance companies and fighting for the compensation they deserve.
Byron and his wife, Teri, have two beautiful children and are active parishioners of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. When away from his desk Byron enjoys time spent with his family and friends, biking, kayaking, and watching LSU and the Saints. When Mrs. Teri allows, Byron may be spotted at his camp in Cocodrie, LA fishing inland and offshore.
