David G. deBlieux joined the firm after 10 years with the East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s Office where served as lead counsel over 65 trials, enjoying a 98% conviction rate. He has successfully argued before the Louisiana Supreme Court as well as the First Circuit Court of Appeals.  His career at the District Attorney’s Office was victim driven, with an emphasis on communication and understanding the victim’s rights to be heard.

It is that victim-focused drive that brought him to Spencer Calahan Injury Lawyers.  David strives to put his client’s needs first and work diligently to ensure that his client’s expectations are met and they are made whole.

He received his Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, in addition to his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.  He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Baton Rouge Bar Association.

He is an active member of St. George Parish and enjoys volunteering with his church and his children’s school.
