Isaac E. Khalid, a Baton Rouge native, obtained his B.A. in Political Science from Louisiana State University before graduating from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2008. Having previously practiced in both Shreveport and Lafayette, Isaac has represented clients in courtrooms in every corner of Louisiana, both state and federal, and at both the district and appellate levels. Prior to beginning plaintiff practice, Isaac spent six years at a prominent defense firm, where he defended insurance companies against personal injury claims. He now considers that experience invaluable to understanding how insurance companies, adjusters, and attorneys think and operate, which he uses to his advantage in seeing that injured individuals get the recovery they deserve. Over the years, Isaac’s diverse areas of practice have included auto liability, premises liability, construction liability, rehabilitation law, mental health law, civil rights, and workers’ compensation, but he now enjoys focusing exclusively on advocating for regular people who have been injured by the fault of others.
Isaac married his wife, Sarah, in 2010. She is also a lifelong Baton Rouge native with a legal background, who works for a local defense firm. Isaac and Sarah have a son and a daughter, Austin and Sydney.
When not fighting for his clients, Isaac most enjoys spending time with his family. His other interests include following his kids’ competitive soccer, LSU football and tailgating, travel, hiking, photography, and learning Spanish.
Isaac is licensed to practice in all District Courts in Louisiana. He has also been an active member of the Louisiana and Baton Rouge Bar Associations.
