Jamie P. Cashio received his Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Laws from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2004, where he was a three time winner of Flory Trial Competition, member of L.S.U.’s Intercollege Trial Competition and a founding member of the law school’s Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Louisiana State University, where he was Vice-President of the General College and Vice-President and founding member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity.
Admitted to the Louisiana Bar in October of 2004 and the Texas Bar in October of 2011, Jamie Cashio is a member of the Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Texas Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts and U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana.
Prior to joining the firm of Spencer Calahan, Jamie operated a private practice which focused on civil, family and criminal litigation, including personal injury, worker’s compensation and medical malpractice. He was also an attorney with Carmouche, Carmouche and Baldwin, representing several large U.S. energy companies in the acquisition of mineral rights and natural gas/petroleum drilling operations in Louisiana and Texas. At Spencer Calahan, Jamie’s focus is on personal injury litigation, representing individuals who have been injured in vehicular accidents, 18 wheeler accidents and premise liability.
Jamie was born and raised in the New Orleans area and a graduate of De La Salle High School of New Orleans.
